Meet the Team

Audrey MacIntosh​

Audrey MacIntosh is a Registered Psychotherapist in the province of Ontario, providing individual psychotherapy to adults and mature minors (16 years of age or older), in English and French. She is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, registration #009025. 

 

Audrey holds a Masters Degree in Education concentration Counselling from the University of Ottawa (2005), where she also completed her Undergraduate Degree Honors in Psychology (2001). Audrey is also a member with the Canadian Counselling Association #10007202.

 

Prior to opening her private practice in 2020 Audrey has worked in a variety of community and health organizations such as the University of Ottawa – Counselling Services and the Canadian Mental Health Association for in excess of 16 years.

Audrey works within from a solution-focused, eclectic approach to therapy. She also incorporates elements from narrative, humanistic, cognitive-behavioural, and emotion-focused approaches into her work with clients.

Chantal Jodoin

Chantal Jodoin is a registered psychotherapist in the province of Ontario, providing individual psychotherapy to adults and mature minors (16 years of age or older), in both English and French. She is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and the Canadian Counselling Association. Chantal obtained her Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from Athabasca University (2019), as well as an Undergraduate Degree in Psychology and Criminology from the University of Ottawa (2005).


 

Prior to joining the Scarlett Institute of Wellness, Chantal had worked 18 years in the Ottawa region providing both individual and group counselling to some of the most marginalized individuals in our communities. Chantal’s focus has been in the area of mental health and addictions, and continues to provide care to these populations in various community settings. These include organizations such as Youthnet, the Elizabeth Fry Society of Ottawa and most recently Centretown Community Health Centre.


 

Chantal uses a person-centered and strength based approach to support clients in moving towards their desired goals. She believes that individuals innately possess the skills necessary to bring about change and that working collaboratively with a therapist can facilitate this process.

Chantal uses an eclectic approach to therapy based on her clients individual needs and incorporates elements from narrative, humanistic, cognitive-behavioural, and emotion-focused therapy into her work. Chantal has completed training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and provides support to clients diagnosed with or experiencing symptoms of PTSD. Chantal is also trained in Walk and Talk Therapy, a form of psychotherapy that incorporates walking outdoors while talking about issues. This is a great option for clients who may prefer a more active and non-traditional approach to therapy.
